Cold Rooms

 Cold Rooms are the confined spaces where a certain climatic conditions are maintained to specific application as storage of products for long, manufacturing process etc. 



Cold Rooms can be classifies as per many factors as Size, temperature or construction etc. 

Cold Rooms based on temperature range

     1. Chiller Room (+ Temperature) 

     2. Freezer Room (- Temperature) 

     3. Blast Chiller(+ Temperature) 

     4. Blast Freezer (-30 deg C to -45 C 

Chiller Room: The cold room temperature between 0 degree to 16 degree is called chiller room and its application is to store fresh products, beverages, dairy and medicines etc. 


Freezer Room: The cold room temperatre between -6 to -28 deg C is called freezer Room and it application is to store frozend food products like frozen poultry, meat, fish, ice cream etc.



Blast Chiller: Blast chiller is a cold room where products are chilled quickly to preserve the quality of product for long. Before storing in chiller rooms, we bring down the product temperaure to +5 deg around. The main purpose of blasting is to protect the quality of product. 

Blast Freezer: Blast freezer is cold room where product are frozen to -20 deg temperature. When product is frozend, it is preserve in freezer room for long time. So Blast freezer has same purpose as Blast chiller to bring down the product temperature without loosing product quality.
